How the U.S. Has Been Wrongly Assessing Women’s Infant Deaths since 1976

But in Canada, the numbers have been wildly different.

According to the latest data from Statistics Canada, in 2020, Canada’s infant mortality rate was 3.6 per 1,000 live births.

That was a far cry from the U of T’s estimate of 4.6, which was also in line with the U, which ranked at 4.8 per 1
